for Updating Your
CIPS
Network Listing Directly Online
As a CIPS Network member, you can now change your own information
in the CIPS Network membership database at the REALTOR.org web site.
The first requirement is that you must be registered at the
REALTOR.org web site and that you be linked to your membership record in the
CIPS Network database. To register at
the web site and establish linkage to CIPS Network:
1. Go to the home
page at http://www.realtor.org.
2. Click on the
"Register" link in the top navigation.
3. Click on “Are you
a Realtor…or CIPS Network member who needs to register at this site?”
4. For U.S.
members, enter your own NRDS ID with the last four digits of your Social
Security
Number.
5. Enter
your CIPS Network membership number (found on the enclosed invoice payment form
above your name) and your last name to establish the necessary linkage between
REALTOR.org registration and the CIPS Network system. Then “Click Here to Continue with
Registration”.
6. Fill in any other
information required to complete the REALTOR.org registration process.
If you have already registered at REALTOR.org, you need to go to
your registration profile record to establish the linkage to the CIPS Network
membership database:
1. Go to the home
page at http://www.realtor.org.
2. Click on the
"My Account" link in the top navigation and enter your username and
password.
3. Under
the bullet heading "Examine and update your existing REALTOR.org
account", choose the option "Add your CIPS Network ID to your
REALTOR.org registration record so you can update your information".
4. Enter
your CIPS Network membership number (found on the enclosed invoice payment form
above your name) along with any other requested information, then click on
“Update Profile”.
After completing the above steps, you are now ready to update your
record directly in the CIPS Network database:
1. Go to the home
page at http://www.realtor.org.
2. Click on the
"International" link in the left navigation area.
3. Under
"Tools" in the right column, click on the link labeled "Change
my CIPS information".
4. Enter your
REALTOR.org username and password to authenticate.
5. Proceed to update
your CIPS Network database information using the “Edit” and then “Save Changes”
buttons.
